Futuro Simple

El Futuro Simple se utiliza para hablar de:

• Cosas que sucederán en el futuro

• Decisiones espontáneas

• Promesas

• Predicciones sin evidencia o cosas que creemos que pasarán.

• En español, lo expresamos con las terminaciones -é, -ás, -á, -emos, -án en los verbos conjugados: por ejemplo, "haré", "comeremos", "viajarán", etc.

• En inglés no se usa una conjugación específica del verbo. En lugar de eso, se mantiene el verbo en su forma base (infinitivo sin "to") y se agrega el auxiliar "will" para indicar futuro. Si es una oración negativa, se usa "won’t" (contracción de "will not", ambas son igual de válidas).
  Will y won’t no significan nada por sí solos; su única función es marcar que la acción está en futuro.

Estructura

(+) Sujeto + will + verbo (infinitivo)

(-) Sujeto + won't + verbo (infinitivo)

(?) (_) + will + sujeto + verbo (infinitivo)

(_) = palabra interrogativa

• Es opcional

• Se utiliza en preguntas abiertas, que no pueden ser respondidas con "Sí/No"

• I will travel to Japan someday → (Viajaré a Japón algún día.)

• She will be here at 5 p.m. → (Ella estará acá a las 5 p.m.)

• We will start the meeting soon → (Empezaremos la reunión pronto.)

• They will call you tomorrow → (Ellos te llamarán mañana.)

• He will help us with the homework → (Él nos ayudará con la tarea.)

• You will love this movie → (Te va a encantar esta película.)

• I think it will rain next week → (Creo que lloverá la próxima semana)

• I won’t forget your birthday → (No olvidaré tu cumpleaños.)

• She won’t come to the party → (Ella no vendrá a la fiesta.)

• We will not buy that car → (No compraremos ese auto.)

• They will not finish the project on time → (Ellos no terminarán el proyecto a tiempo.)

• He won't agree with your idea → (Él no estará de acuerdo con tu idea.)

• Will you go to the concert? Yes, I will / No, I won’t → (¿Irás al concierto? Sí / No)

• Will she arrive soon? Yes, she will / No, she won’t → (¿Ella llegará pronto? Sí / No)

• Will we have enough time? Yes, we will / No, we won’t → (¿Tendremos suficiente tiempo? Sí / No)

• What will they do tomorrow? They will visit their grandparents → (¿Qué harán mañana? Visitarán a sus abuelos.)

• Where will he sleep tonight? He will sleep at his friend’s house → (¿Dónde dormirá esta noche? Dormirá en la casa de su amigo.)

• Why will you stay at home? Because I have a lot to do → (¿Por qué te quedarás en casa? Porque tengo mucho que hacer.)
